The livestock parade of the annual Windhoek Agricultural Show, which took place on the afternoon of Thursday, 1 October 2009, was once again a proud occasion where Namibian stud breeders could show the cream of the country’s stock ‘crop’.  Besides the fact that the agricultural department was bursting at its seams with the most entries ever, the animals exhibited were of exceptionally high standard.

The Queen’s Cup this year went to Mr Diethelm Metzger and his wife, Katja.  The trophy was handed over by the British High Commissioner, HE Mr Mark Bensberg.
